COACHING & mentoring
I coach and mentor creative teams and individuals, with a special interest in gender equity in leadership. One-on-one and group sessions can be held in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or French. Read my point of view on women’s leadership coaching.
Teams
Teams who know how to collaborate are more emotionally resilient and creative because there is space to experience failure and vulnerability with support and tolerance. But changing a culture takes patience, consistency, resiliency to turnover, and adamant leadership support.
If you’re interested in fostering collaboration, creativity, and diversity in your team, get in touch. We will assess together if my approach is right for you, and I will create a tailored proposal for your specific needs.
individuals
My coaching and mentoring practice with individuals is a safe space to explore their career growth through personal development. I spent two years prototyping my approach to coaching, which is firmly based on three pillars:
-
Experimental Neuroscience has shown that decision-making is never purely cognitive; it is always modulated by emotions [5]
We make poor decisions when we're unaware of our emotions, allowing biases and unconscious habits to take over [6]
As a coach, I help clients increase emotional awareness and regulation so you can make adjusted decisions every day.
-
Mindfulness involves paying attention to our present experiences, both within and outside our bodies. Short Mindfulness practices have been shown to improve decision-making by enhancing interoception, self-regulation, and objective perspective, thus reducing biased reactions and increasing prosocial responses [7] [8] [9] [10] [11]
I am a certified Hakomi practitioner. Hakomi is a method of psychotherapy based on embodied mindfulness and supported by the current neuroscience research on emotional regulation.
-
Design Thinking [12] is a problem-solving approach based on creative research and small experiments to test ideas early and iteratively [13].
It creates a safe space for vulnerability and learning from failure. I integrate Design Thinking into sessions and between-sessions assignments, so you can try new approaches and make concrete changes in a low-risk setting.
